PRIVACY DETAILS.
Here's how we intend to use the information you share with Young Guns Hockey Runs.
WHO COLLECTS INFORMATION?
Young Guns Hockey Runs is an independent pickup hockey program in GTA West, Ontario. This website is designed for parents and guardians, not for children to sign up on their own.
WHAT WE COLLECT
The separate skater and goalie mailing forms collect a parent or guardian name and email address, player birth year, type of player and consent to email announcements. The skater form also asks playing level. When registrations open, we may also collect player roster names, level, parent phone numbers and the run requested. Contact-form messages collect the sender's name, email and message.
WHY WE USE IT
We use this information to announce hockey dates, respond to questions, organize skater and goalie requests, communicate confirmations and payment instructions, and coordinate safe pickup hockey sessions. We do not publish children's names or personal information on this website.
EMAIL UPDATES
You must actively opt into announcements. Email announcements sent through Brevo include an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time. To stop messages before that, contact the organizer. We will not sell parent contact details to advertisers.
STORAGE AND PROVIDERS
Website forms are stored using Netlify Forms. If you consent to run announcements, your parent/guardian name and email address are also sent to Brevo (our email mailing-list provider) so we can email upcoming run information. Netlify Blobs holds organizer-posted run details. Brevo provides the unsubscribe process. Data may be processed outside Canada. We do not add non-consenting registrations to marketing campaigns.
ACCESS OR DELETION
To ask about your information, request a correction, or ask for removal from the list, send a privacy request.
